About
James Buscher
After graduating from Carroll College with a degree in English Writing, Literature and Education, I spent a couple summers mountain guiding in British Columbia. I eventually decided I should put my degree to use and went to work in Helena, Montana as an English Teacher and Communications Strategist.
Through my communications work I developed an interest in web design. I have gravitated toward roles that allowed me to build user-centered web services and have grown into the work of UX/Product design.
I love the way UX/Product design values the stories people bring to their interactive experiences and, at its best, seeks to enrich those stories.
Outside of work, you'll find me mountain biking in the South Hills around Helena, kicking it on the soccer field, falling off my skateboard, relaxing with a good book on the couch, or chasing my three little kids around the house.
I'm a huge believer in the power of empathy and vulnerability to fuel creativity, and am compelled to stay curious in a world committed to certainty.
